One of our clients needs a Development Manager

• Position: Development Manager
• Location: Remote
• Job Type: Full Time
• Work Authorization: US citizen

We are seeking a Development Manager with extensive experience leading software development teams and managing program schedules. The ideal candidate will be skilled in work breakdown structures, resource allocation, and program tracking to ensure successful project execution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create work breakdown structures and detailed program schedules for software development projects.
• Assign tasks to software development team members and monitor progress.
• Track resources, budgets, and expenditures to ensure efficient program execution.
• Ensure program objectives and deadlines are met successfully.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to development team members.
• Evaluate project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding program status and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering Management, or other related engineering/technical discipline.
• 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development management.
• Strong experience in work breakdown structures, program scheduling, and team management.
• Proven ability to track resources and expenditures effectively.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated success in delivering software development programs on time and within budget.
