We are looking for a strategic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our operations in the commercial sector. The COO will be responsible for overseeing the commercial sector's operational functions, ensuring that all aspects of the organization are aligned with our strategic goals, and driving operational excellence to achieve sustainable growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to formulate the company's strategic direction and operational priorities.
  • Identify market trends and emerging opportunities in the commercial sector to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across all commercial solutions.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Advocate for the adoption of technology and automation to enhance operational efficiency and service offerings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with business development and account management teams to understand client needs and ensure service excellence.
  • Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to promote customer loyalty and retention.
  • Work closely with the CFO to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
  • Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operational team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
  • Ensure proper training and development programs are in place to enhance employee skills and engagement.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Monitor the external environment for potential risks and adapt strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in operations management within the BPO or commercial sector, with a minimum of 5 years in an executive leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving financial targets.
  • Strong understanding of the BPO landscape and commercial market dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary for this role is 350k - 400k.
