Position overview:

We are seeking a talented Business Intelligence Developer to join our team and drive growth through strategic initiatives and data-driven insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into a performance-optimized database & business intelligence development.
  • Evaluate data issues & ensure data integrity.
  • Develop scripts for operational and analytical dashboards, reports, letters, and prints.
  • Develop high performance ETL/ELT processes between different types of databases.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and correct data and user-related database errors.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Estimate development efforts accurately.
  • Work under an Agile development process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with company goals.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • BE or BS Degree in Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years SQL server (working experience)
  • 1+ year BI modeling development (working experience)
  • Proficiency in BI development using SSRS, PowerBI, and other BI technologies.
  • Strong SQL Server skills for database structure/management and query optimization practices.
  • Good interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively across different projects and teams.
  • Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric architecture.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of advanced data analytics and machine learning techniques.
