Security Officer - Auto Patrol Watcher

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards to the appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and client staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
