The Role: IT Support Associate, ChromeOS

We're looking for an IT Support Associate with expertise in ChromeOS to enhance the experience of Discord employees across the globe. You'll play a key role in delivering best-in-class hardware/software support, improving IT processes, and scaling systems that support team growth. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in our San Francisco HQ, with occasional increased onsite presence for major events.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide Tier 3 support for end-user devices across MacOS, Windows, and (occasionally) Linux.
• Support enterprise software such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Asana, 1Password, JAMF, InTune, and Entra.
• Manage systems access and lifecycle management across global teams.
• Implement IT architecture components related to Identity Providers (SSO/IDM).
• Reduce ticket volume by identifying recurring issues and applying long-term fixes.
• Lead and contribute to IT projects that align with Discord's global scale and technology goals.

What You Should Bring

• 3+ years of progressive IT support experience
• Strong experience with ChromeOS and Chrome Enterprise
• Proficiency with both MacOS and Windows
• Knowledge of SSO and identity management systems (e.g., Okta)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with enterprise IT tools (e.g., JAMF, InTune, Entra)
