What You'll Do
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Glumac, you will:

  • Lead the mechanical engineering discipline from concept through construction administration on diversified building types, ensuring high-performance outcomes, code compliance, and constructability.
  • Serve as Engineer of Record on selected projects, collaborating closely with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional technical solutions.
  • Apply your HVAC, energy, and systems expertise to optimize building performance, energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality, and sustainability goals.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers and designers, fostering technical development, professional growth, and teamwork excellence.
  • Partner with project leadership on planning budgets, schedules, staffing, and resource allocation to support project execution and financial targets.
Who You Are
  • Experience: 8-20+ years of mechanical engineering experience in the AEC industry, with a strong background in HVAC design for medium to large-scale buildings.
  • Professional Registration: Active PE license (or in progress) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, IES, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with energy modeling and system optimization preferred.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, provide mentorship, and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sustainability Credentials: LEED AP BD+C, WELL, or similar certifications are highly desirable and align with our sustainability focus.

  • Competitive Salary: $150,000 - $185,000 annually, commensurate with experience and market benchmarks for Senior Mechanical Engineers in Seattle.
