Description:

Full Time (in-office) The law firm is in the heart of San Francisco's Financial District and is a full-service probate litigation, administration, and estate planning firm offering experienced counsel in a wide range of estate planning matters. We are seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to join our team on a full-time, in-office basis. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong writing skills and hands-on experience in California probate matters. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities • Prepare and draft probate pleadings, petitions, notices, and supporting documents • Handle court filings, including electronic and manual filings, and manage court deadlines • Prepare and draft probate pleadings, petitions, notices, and supporting documents, complete judicial counsel forms, and correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders under supervision of an attorney • Prepare and assist with fiduciary accountings and related schedules • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties • Maintain accurate and organized case files Qualifications: Required QualificationsMinimum of three (3) years of probate paralegal experience in California • Strong legal writing, proofreading, and organizational skills • Experience with California probate court procedures and filings • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and related office software • Experience preparing or assisting with probate and fiduciary accountings • Ability to meet established billable hour requirements and accurately record time Position Details • Full-time, in-office position (remote or hybrid work is not available) • Hourly, non-exempt role in compliance with California wage and hour laws • Compensation range of $32.00 to $45.00 per hour, depending on experience Candidates considered at the upper end of the compensation range must demonstrate commensurate probate experience, efficiency, and independent case-handling ability. We value professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail, and we offer a collegial work environment with meaningful client interaction. Compensation: $32 - $42 hourly
