As a Caregiver for Back-up Childcare, you'll step in to care for children ranging from infants to school-aged kids in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. You'll support working families by ensuring their little ones are happy, secure, and having fun while parents handle their workday stress-free.

What You'll Do

• Provide age-appropriate care, supervision, and play for children (infants through 12 years old).
• Follow established routines and care plans to ensure safety and comfort.
• Maintain open, positive communication with parents and the Bright Horizons team.
• Support daily routines, including meals, naps, creative play, and learning activities.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and child-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must obtain HCA (register yourself with the state of California ($35), background check ($89) and negative TB test). You can go here to register: The PIN Number is LPSCBM
• High school diploma or GED required; coursework in Early Childhood Education a plus.
• Experience caring for children in a home, center, or school setting (minimum 6 months preferred).
• Ability to complete a background check, CPR/First Aid certification, and required online training.
• Friendly, reliable, and flexible ready to adapt to different home or center environments.
