About the Role

We are in search of a talented Full Stack Software Engineer who excels in fast-paced startup environments and can effectively lead features from ideation to launch. You will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling essential systems that encompass both backend (Django) and frontend (React) technologies, while also shaping our engineering roadmap as we grow.

Engage directly with our founders, take charge of critical systems, and influence essential product and technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test, and maintain key product features using Django and React.
• Oversee the end-to-end development of new functionalities—from database schema design to frontend user experiences.
• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Create responsive, engaging user interfaces utilizing React and contemporary frontend methodologies.
• Optimize performance on both backend and frontend for speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Establish engineering standards regarding code quality, testing, documentation, and best practices.
• Manage and advance data models, database schemas, and complex queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS or similar cloud infrastructures.
• Collaborate closely with founders, designers, and early adopters to mold the product roadmap.
• Contribute to the development of the engineering culture, processes, and foundations of the company.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in Python, Django, Django REST Framework, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and data modeling principles.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, and CI/CD methodologies.
• Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and modern DevOps practices.
• Ability to work independently, act swiftly, and consistently deliver high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to feature ownership.
• Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
