The Role

Pano is looking for a Deputy Chief of Staff to the CEO to drive execution, productivity and alignment across the company. You will report into the Office of the CEO and work directly with the CEO, ensuring that teams across the company are coordinated, empowered, and accountable. In this role, you'll also lead high?impact business strategy and operations initiatives to improve organizational productivity such as driving the adoption of GenAI solutions across functions.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator, cross?functional leader and operational problem?solver who thrives in an intense, mission?driven startup environment. Based in San Francisco, you will be in the Mission District office 23 days per week.

What You'll Do

• Support the CEO in attending executive reviews across myriad functions: tracking action items, codifying decisions, following up with teams, and managing priorities.
• Work with department leaders to prepare materials, agendas, and briefing documents for executive meetings.
• Help maintain clear communication between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders including drafting communications on behalf of the CEO, such as speeches, Q&A, presentations and emails.
• Assist in building a GenAI Center of Excellence, leading initiatives such as tracking GenAI adoption and impact metrics.
• Manage pilot programs with teams to successfully drive the adoption of new GenAI tools and workflows.
• Stay current on the GenAI landscape and summarize relevant updates or recommendations for the CEO and leadership team.
• Support the Office of the CEO with key initiatives such as annual planning and KPIs.

What You'll Bring

Required

• Bachelors degree or equivalent.
• 2 - 6 years of experience in strategy and operations, consulting or similar fields.
• Clear, well?structured written and verbal communication.
• Skilled at synthesizing information and presenting to executive audiences.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in an intense, fast?paced environment.
• Demonstrated discretion and professionalism with a service?oriented mindset.
• Hungry to grow your responsibilities and impact as the company scales.
• Passion for GenAI tools and how they can improve productivity and quality.

Preferred

• Familiarity with GenAI tools and building GenAI agents.
• Track record of driving cross?functional alignment, exceptional internal communication and workflow improvements.
• Prior experience in an early stage or growth stage venture?backed start?up.

Salary range

$115,000 - $130,000

The final salary offer depends on a variety of factors, including an individuals job?related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for stock options. We also provide comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, a matching 401(k) plan, and unlimited paid time off.
