The Role Overview

This key guest service role responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guests needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons policies.

Essential Functions

  • Assure that desk collateral and information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current. Know what activities are available in the city (theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing) and establish close contacts with vendors to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests.
  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operation, key hotel personnel, in?house events, directions, etc. Respond to all guest requests accurately and timely, making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices.
  • Store and retrieve guest luggage and packages.
  • Utilize a variety of software programs to accurately input special arrangements the guest has made and ensure proper billing.
  • Process packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming accurately and timely.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of two years experience in a hotel concierge role; luxury environment preferred.
  • Above?average communication skills both written and oral are required.
  • Ability to quickly and positively establish rapport is required.
  • Must have the ability to cope with stress and work in a high?volume operation.
  • Above?average multi?tasking skills are required.
  • Candidates with a degree in hospitality or similar are preferred.
  • Current Four Seasons employees, bilingual candidates and those with prior experience in a luxury hotel/environment will receive priority consideration.
