If you are a motivated professional looking for a long-term fit where you can grow in a role, and will be valued and empowered, then we invite you to apply to our Toxic Tort Paralegal position in our San Francisco Office./ppThis position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement./ppThe Position/ppThis is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated, self-starter to advance their paralegal career by developing an understanding of the anatomy of defense litigation through hands-on experience in a fast-paced litigation group./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliPrepare records, review and prepare exhibits, analyze medical records, and trial preparation/liliContact outside sources (government agencies, etc.) to obtain public information and review and analyze the same/liliSearch and retrieve information from court-related databases as well as other online sources of case information/liliPrepare summary of pertinent transcripts/liliAssemble chronologies of pertinent facts and key documents/liliReview, analyze and organize document productions by opposing parties and co-defendants/liliDetermine, prepare and organize materials needed for expert witness review/liliConduct investigative research on opposing parties and expert witnesses/liliManage documents and organize case files/liliMonitor and review third party eFile/eService databases/liliOther responsibilities as requested/li/ulpQualifications:/pulliMust have a bachelors degree/liliParalegal Certificate from an ABA accredited Paralegal program/course preferred/lili2+ years toxic tort litigation experience, including asbestos, talc, benzene, mold, or similar cases/liliExperience preparing pleadings and discovery requests/responses, summarizing medical, employment, and military records, and supporting trial/liliTrial preparation experience a plus/liliStrong proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)/liliiManage experience a plus/liliAttention to detail and organizational skills are critical/liliClear and effective communication skills both orally and in writing/liliMust be able to work independently and be proactive/liliExperience with e-discovery and using Relativity or other document review platforms is a plus/li/ulpSalary Range:/pp$80,000 - $110,000 USD/ppWhy Should You Apply?/pulliBenefits: Outstanding benefits package, including 401k match and generous PTO plan/liliCareer Growth: Ample opportunities for professional development and advancement/liliEmployee Perks: Access to corporate discount plans and other benefits/li/ul/div
