Systems Operations Manager

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $150,000-$240,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Systems Operations Manager to lead our Digital Buildings Systems Operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless performance of our engineering and construction teams, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with deep technical expertise and a passion for developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and grow a team of project and engineering managers. Set clear goals, monitor performance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Operational & Financial Oversight: Manage operational budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability across projects and service delivery.

Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and service excellence.

Safety & Compliance: Champion safety standards and ensure adherence to all organizational and regulatory requirements.

Technology & Innovation: Drive digital transformation initiatives, optimize workflows, and implement cutting-edge smart building technologies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in operations management within smart building environments.

Strong knowledge of building automation systems (BMS), HVAC, and security systems.

Technical proficiency with IoT platforms, data analytics tools, and smart building software.

Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification

OSHA 30 certification

Experience with platforms such as Tridium, EcoStruxure, or similar

Proven success in coaching project managers in forecasting, subcontractor management, manpower planning, and scheduling
