About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Project Management to lead and oversee multifamily and mixed-use construction projects from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of projects while adhering to budgetary and timeline constraints. This role involves collaborating with diverse teams, managing project documentation, contracts, and schedules, and utilizing advanced project management tools for accurate tracking and reporting. The AVP will also be tasked with interpreting technical documents, driving deadlines across multiple projects, and providing leadership and mentorship to team members.
Applicants must have an Associate degree or equivalent experience in construction management or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in managing multifamily and mixed-use projects. Proficiency in project management tools, including Procore and CPM scheduling, and Microsoft Office applications is required. The role demands strong skills in contract negotiation, budgeting, and subcontract administration, as well as the ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical reports. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with effective leadership and mentoring skills to foster professional growth and collaboration within the team.
