divh2Job Summary/h2pThe role is responsible for assisting in establishing premium rates and conducting financial analysis and reporting. A key responsibility of this role is supporting the Molina Marketplace ACA individual market pricing, forecasting, and accrual processes./ph3Essential Job Duties/h3ulliSupports the development of incurred but not reported (IBNR) estimates and rate adequacy studies, and documents assumptions./liliAnalyzes results to identify early signs of trends or other issues related to medical care costs./liliPerforms actuarial studies related to medical care costs and trends./liliGenerates and distributes routine reports to support IBNR calculations, pricing and financial reporting./liliExtracts and compiles information from various systems to support executive decision-making./liliSupports the development of reports and analysis for senior leadership, and effectively communicates results./li/ulh3Required Qualifications/h3p Up to 1 year of actuarial experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.br At least 1 passing Society of Actuaries (SOA) exam.br Bachelors degree in actuarial, mathematics, statistics, economics or related field.br Advanced understanding of statistics/predictive analytics.br Demonstrated problem-solving skills.br Strong critical-thinking and attention to detail.br Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.br Strong time-management skills, and ability to manage simultaneous projects and tasks to meet internal deadlines.br Effective verbal and written communication skills.br Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products, including key skills in Excel (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables), and applicable software program(s) proficiency./ph3Preferred Qualifications/h3p Actuarial internship/ppTo all current Molina employees: If you are interested in applying for this position, please apply through the Internal Job Board.
