Remote Bilingual Call Center Representative

Full?time position located in Washington State, working remotely from WA. Must live and work in WA; no out?of?state hires.

Language Fluency

Fluent in one of the following languages: Korean, Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, or Chinese.

What We Offer

  • Pay: $26.42 per hour (Multilingual)

  • Possible up to 10 days in Seattle HQ office per year
  • Schedule: MondayFriday 8am5pm; no weekends

In This Position

You will answer inbound phone calls from members. An inbound call?center role with expectation of handling 40 or more calls per day. Qualified individuals may be asked to translate written materials or provide spoken interpretation during meetings or representational proceedings.

Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule
  • Hybrid training: first 2 weeks in person, next 2 weeks remote, 5th week at Seattle office to take calls with trainer support.
  • Condition of employment: Must commit to the five?week training schedule (no time off allowed, no exceptions).
  • Start date: Monday, March 16, 2026.
  • Regular business hours: 8:00?am5:00?pm PST.
  • May be required to perform political work for candidates and member political education as part of job duties.
  • May be required to work outside normal hours, weekends, evenings, or holidays.

Preferences

Experience in a call?center environment, human services referral, information programs, or social justice organizations is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to work in fast?paced environment
  • At least 1 year of direct customer?service experience (restaurants, call center, retail, technical support, hospitality)
  • Critical?thinking aptitude
  • Stable work history (minimal employment gaps, long periods with one employer)
  • Computer/technical skills


Other Relatable Experience

Receptionist, data collector, billing, insurance claim, collections, multi?phone line, sales, inbound/outbound call handling.

Recruitment Process

  1. Application screened for qualifications, including language needs.
  2. Selected candidates receive a one?way video interview request.

  4. Successful candidates invited to a Zoom panel interview.
  5. After that, a language assessment is administered (highly weighted).
