Parts Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Mercedes-Benz of San Francisco is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in South San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the shipment and receipt of automotive parts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all inventory-related activities. This position offers a great opportunity to be part of a reputable automotive dealership and contribute to exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process incoming and outgoing shipments of parts and materials
• Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing lists
• Inspect parts for damage or discrepancies and report issues accordingly
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update databases as needed
• Prepare and label packages for shipment following company and carrier standards
• Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery
• Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean and safe shipping and receiving area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in an automotive environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to operate shipping software and basic computer applications
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy parts as required
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
