Position: Logistics Operations Coordinator

Available Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Compensation: $29.00 per hour

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust Quality System in warehouse operations to enhance efficiency.
• Present and execute weekly and quarterly key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable quality and regulatory standards to uphold operational excellence.
• Manage the training and development initiatives for account personnel to foster growth and competency.
• Conduct thorough audits of distribution center (DC) operational processes for continuous improvement.
• Lead and motivate a dedicated team to achieve optimal performance and safety standards.
• Collaborate with operations management and account supervisors to promote high-quality performance and adherence to best practices.
• Support performance assessments, risk evaluations, and quality investigations to maintain operational integrity.
• Engage with customers through teleconferences, presentations, and email correspondence to build strong relationships.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall team objectives.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five (5) years of experience in warehouse and/or distribution management.
• Experienced in staff management within a distribution, warehouse, or third-party logistics (3PL) environment.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of the supply chain industry.
• Proficient in KPI metric development for performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with safety compliance practices.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Understanding of value-added services within logistics.
• Fluency in multiple languages, including Spanish, is required.
• Proficient in administrative and reporting tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Forklift certification and/or license is a plus.
• 5S, Lean, or similar training/certifications highly regarded.
• Experience with hazardous materials storage and shipping processes.
