Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager IV to oversee and coordinate the completion of projects and programs. The role involves setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress to ensure successful project completion. You will prepare reports for upper management regarding the status and progress of projects and programs.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and complete projects and programs from initiation to closure.
Oversee all aspects of projects and programs, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
Set deadlines and assign responsibilities to team members.
Monitor and summarize project progress and prepare reports for upper management.
Lead and direct the work of others with a focus on creativity and latitude.
Communicate effectively with third-party vendors to ensure proper installation and focus on automation and material handling equipment.
Collaborate with other teams, including project coordinators, to manage budgets, schedules, and resources.
Identify and address gaps in standards and hold vendors accountable.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
At least 7 years of experience in project or program management.
Strong familiarity with project management and vendor management practices.
Proficient in communication with third-party vendors.
Experience working in operational warehouses.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3-5 years of engineering
3-5 years of project management experience.
PMP certification.
Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to earn trust and insist on the highest standards.
Work Environment
This position requires 100% travel to work site locations, working with regional teams to complete multiple automation installation projects. The work environment involves heavy tracking, project management, technology utilization, and communication. The role demands a collaborative approach with a focus on achieving project goals within operational warehouses.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
