Part-Time Housekeeper
Location: Montara, CA

Schedule: Monday / Wednesday / Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours/week

The Role

This is a hands-on, detail-driven housekeeping position in a 4,500 sq. ft. luxury home. The ideal candidate takes pride in doing things the right way-thoroughly, proactively, and consistently. This is not a "quick tidy" role; the family is looking for a housekeeper who is comfortable with deep cleaning and who has high standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Full-charge housekeeping for a large private home (high attention to detail)
• Deep cleaning (not just surface-level): kitchens, bathrooms, floors, baseboards, dusting, etc.
• Laundry, ironing, and linen care (wash, fold, press, put away)
• Organization of household areas (closets, cabinets, pantries, etc.)
• Grocery shopping and errand support
• Light cooking support as needed (simple meal prep or basics)
• Maintain household supplies and notify the family of needs (cleaning products, paper goods, etc.)
• Flag repairs/maintenance issues and help keep the home running smoothly
• Windlow cleaning, inside and outside (accessible windows)

Future Dog Support

The family plans to get a small dog in the future. The housekeeper should be comfortable helping with light pet-related tasks when that happens, such as:

• Feeding the dog
• Taking the dog outside on a leash

Compensation & Benefits

• $45-$55/hour DOE

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a housekeeper in a luxury hotel and/or large luxury private home
• Highly meticulous with strong deep-cleaning skills
• Professional, dependable, and able to take ownership of the home
• Strong verbal English skills
• Local to the area with a reliable vehicle
• Authorized to work legally in the United States
• Willing to complete an in-depth background check
• Stellar references from prior employers
• No smoking or vaping
• Must be a dog lover!

Physical Requirements

This role is active and requires the ability to:

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
• Lift and carry up to 30-40 lbs (laundry, supplies, small household items)
• Climb stairs and use step stools safely
• Perform repetitive motions (vacuuming, mopping, wiping, and ironing)
