Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY
Matheson specializes in themanufacture and distribution of dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide. Matheson maintains a reliable network of dry ice distribution facilitieslocated strategically throughout its service area. This integrated distributionnetwork ensures that Matheson can quickly react to customers' needs.
Matheson is looking for a MAINTENANCETECHNICIAN. Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for providingsupport to achieve optimal levels of productivity, quality, and safety. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.

Starting Wage: $30.00 to $50.25 per hour depending onexperience. A Maintenance Exam will be administered to determine level ofpay.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
High School Diploma or GED required;
2-year technical degree or any other related certifications ortraining is a plus
Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience within manufacturingenvironment (preferably within extrusions or compressions environments withhydraulic/pneumatic equipment)
Experience with hydraulics, screw compressors, mechanics,electrical systems and troubleshooting PLC's Experience with robotics aplus.
Experience with large ammonia refrigeration systems a plus.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and workin tight spaces in and around machinery.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen, employment historyverification, and background check.
A Maintenance Skill Level Exam will be administered to determinepay level.
