We're partnering with a leading space systems company to hire a Manufacturing Engineering Manager responsible for developing, scaling, and optimizing advanced manufacturing processes for satellite and launch hardware.

This role will build the foundation of a manufacturing-centric culture-driving efficiency, quality, and innovation in a rapidly growing production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish scalable, repeatable manufacturing processes for complex hardware
• Oversee facilities layout, tooling, and process control systems
• Define standards for converting eBOMs to mBOMs and maintain documentation
• Implement training programs for assembly and integration technicians
• Lead the selection and integration of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, VSM)
• Establish KPIs to measure safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance
• Collaborate with design teams on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Test (DFT)
• Lead corrective action efforts for quality or process non-conformances

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering
• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering within aerospace, automotive, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years in leadership or management roles
• Proven experience standing up new production lines or scaling manufacturing operations

• Strong command of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Hands-on experience with MES/ERP systems and PLM workflows
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards and regulated production environments
• Experience with electro-mechanical assembly and precision hardware manufacturing
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred
• U.S. Person status required under export control regulations
