Description:

Maintenance Technician II, Sauce - 1st Shift

As we are launching sauce production in our factory for the first time, we're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician II to play a key role in bringing this exciting new operation to life. From supporting our multiple production lines to troubleshooting, improving processes, and ensuring equipment runs smoothly, you'll be at the heart of something new and impactful.

This isn't just another maintenance role - it's an opportunity to shape the success of a brand-new product line. You'll apply your expertise in lean manufacturing, PLCs, fabrication, and CMMS tools (like Limble and SAP), while contributing to both daily operations and long-term improvements. If you're excited to make a difference and grow with a company that values continuous improvement, shared success and having fun while we do it, we want to meet you.

At Torani, we flavor more than just drinks - we flavor lives. We're a Certified B Corporation committed to shared success, and that means everyone here plays a meaningful role. You'll be empowered to grow, try new things, and help others thrive.

SUCCESS FACTORS (12- 18 months):

  • Subject Matter Expert: Using your large "tool-belt" of industrial maintenance skills and previous food manufacturing experience, you are the epicenter of knowledge in pneumatic conveying, hot filling, high pressure seals, heat exchangers and more! You navigate complex mechanical challenges efficiently, understanding the criticality and balancing multiple priorities with ease. You are recognized for your wide breadth of technical knowledge, balanced with your ability to work cross functionally to identify the root causes of issues: not only providing the right solutions but also helping to grow the capabilities of our Maintenance team.
  • Production Line Support: Machinery acting up? No problem! You diagnose issues quickly and correctly using root-cause analysis and have helped create a scalable system for ordering and maintaining the right stock of supplies for maintenance activities. With a good pulse on the needs of production, you have effectively prioritized and completed work orders for Sauce Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and special projects. Your expertise in parts identification has resulted in the resolution of equipment issues thoroughly & accurately-our machines consistently purr with happiness!
  • Autonomous Maintenance: Vital to support our growth, you have helped to develop a true living-breathing- autonomous maintenance culture. You continually strengthen our manufacturing team members' skills on light maintenance activities, troubleshooting critical regulatory instruments like temperature sensors and flow meters, completing basic operational PMs, regular inspection & monitoring, and understanding the sequence of operations for our production equipment. Additionally, you have mastered how to operate each piece of our production equipment and when help is needed, you jump right in! You help revise and create training materials as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Status quo, heck no! As an expert in innovation, you have a constant focus on building robust processes and making incremental improvements for sustainable changes. Improvements to the preventive maintenance plans are integrated based on your feedback but never at the expense of daily production needs. You support, and sometimes lead, special projects focused on continually improving our manufacturing operations. Through your day-to-day work you use continuous improvement principles (AM, 5S, Six Siga/Lean, RCAs, Redzone) to move the business forward.
  • Safety and Quality: You are a champion of our Safety Culture with a focus on safety improvements through all projects and you lead by example as it relates to keeping safety top of mind in all our work. You suggest improvements to Torani's overall HACCP plan, and you ensure that all equipment and line improvements take HACCP concerns into consideration.
  • You Make Work More Fun: Whether it's your attitude, humor, or energy - you bring a little extra brightness to every day.
What You'll Bring:
  • 3 years of industrial plant maintenance planning experience. Preference for specialized technical skills and knowledge of good manufacturing practices.
