The Community Services Department is comprised of three divisions: Community Services Administration, Youth and Adult Services, and the Child Development Center. As a department, we take pride in the quality and variety of services we provide to the community and seek individuals who can contribute. The Summer Camp Recreation Leader will be a member of a dynamic team in the Youth and Adult Services Division and will be responsible for delivering creative, innovative, and enriching summer camp programs for youth in the Emeryville community.
Under the supervision of a Recreation Supervisor, the Summer Camp Recreation Leader leads various recreation activities for children enrolled in summer camp. They are responsible for group safety, completing activities, and following the camp schedule. Leaders must also complete required program paperwork; meet professional standards around attendance, uniform, and communication; and perform other duties as assigned.
