To work on all aspects of removals, collections, deliveries of personal effects, art and antiques under the management of immediate supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
High school diploma / GED required
Some experience in moving and art handling industry; packing, handling art, furniture and antiquities on a local and interstate basis.
Some logistical warehousing and moving experience.
Understanding of inventory processes and the ability to learn how to improve on handling furniture, art and antiquities from collection through to installation
Excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to accurately execute detailed paperwork and condition reporting

Experience with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, bars, dollies and other necessary logistics equipment
Ability to safely lift50 pounds and maneuver objects of substantial size and weight on a daily basis without damage to object or person, including the ability to push and pull 120 pounds on a dolly or cart
Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist and reach overhead
Key Responsibilities
Collections and deliveries on a daily basis, locally and interstate as needed
Assist in the control fall paperwork when on site or working in the field, including all condition reporting for goods
Work with the Driver to ensure vehicle used is always safe, clean and prepared for the day or trip as required, verify what goods are needed at the start of every day or trip based on the daily trip sheet or trip manifest
Ensure all modifications to daily trip manifest are reported and verified by the Operations Manager /Dispatch Manager prior to making any modifications
Proper handling, of art objects, fragile and artistic material, antique and fine furniture
Assist with installation projects
Preparation of condition checks and condition reports as needed
Pack artworks, antiquities and fine furniture for transportation and storage
Assist in the loading and unloading of Cadogan Tate trucks
Support the Warehouse Team as directed by the Manager
Support Warehouse Manager with managing inventory
Able to take direction while working with small crews
Assist in scan property to ensure accurate inventory locations are always maintained
Ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every job
On occasion you may be required to start your day or end your day at a location other than Cadogan Tate, in these instances you are required to complete a manual time sheet and to have this signed by the supervisor or your manager within 24 hours of the start or end of the day.
