Project Scheduler

Location: Rodeo, CA Schedule:

Initial Phase: 50 hours/week, MondayFriday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM

Turnaround Phase: 12-hour shifts, 67 days/week

Overview: Join our team as a Project Scheduler for a major downstream project in Rodeo, CA. You'll ensure project schedules meet all standards and deadlines, working closely with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain integrated project cost and schedule systems
  • Prepare and update project schedules using CPM methodology
  • Coordinate risk analysis and contingency planning
  • Monitor contractor progress, verify earned value, and report variances
  • Consolidate data from multiple disciplines to maintain accurate schedules and WBS
  • Participate in weekly schedule reviews and planning meetings
  • Interface with contractor scheduling specialists to ensure alignment

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project
  • BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Project Controls, Planning & Scheduling, and Earned Value Management
  • Minimum 5 years of scheduling experience on downstream projects
  • Familiarity with refining equipment required
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership and communication skills; open to relocation

  • Pay range: $65-$75/hr
