Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Richmond, CA

Shift: 1st shift

Pay Range: $ 21.00 - $ 23.00

Employment Type: Full-Time/Direct Hire

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Observe and follow all safety processes and procedures including ensuring product food safety and quality

• Loading/unloading product safely and without damaging product or equipment

• Work with a sense of urgency to ensure production schedule is met.

• Responsible for ensuring incoming deliveries are received on-time for their scheduled appointments.

• Put away of inventory and inventory adjustments.

• Responsible for checking and shipping customer orders according to customer requirements

• Perform USDA and USDC inspections

• Responsible for product handling: hand stacking, labeling, stamping, unloading, loading, lifting, wrapping, and other assigned jobs

• Ability to decipher product dates and codes as needed

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, transporter, wrapping machine, tipper, etc.) with training certification

• Ability to operate Hostler and shipping containers (Refer unit and genset)

• Communicates and reports all employee issues to Foreman or Dir. of Operations

• Keep work area clean and vehicles in proper staging area.

• General warehouse duties (Sweeping, cleaning, picking up garbage, etc.)

• Work safely to ensure production schedule is met

• Verify product labeling is accurate

• Communicate and coordinate each assigned task with Foreman and/or Dir. of Operations

• Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation as well as AIB projects

• Notify maintenance of any unsafe or non-functioning vehicles or equipment, fill out corresponding paperwork and lock out/tag out vehicles or equipment if necessary.

• Report safety needs and any safety violations.

• Strictly adheres to Richmond Wholesale's employment policies, departmental operating policies, and all federal and state regulatory and compliance laws pertaining to our business and industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred
