The Delivery Supervisor supports the Delivery Manager by overseeing daily delivery operations and ensuring smooth, accurate, and compliant order fulfillment. This role is responsible for coordinating with drivers, monitoring delivery activities, and maintaining operational standards. The Delivery Supervisor ensures orders are prepared, dispatched, and completed successfully while supporting overall team performance. In addition, the Delivery Supervisor is expected to drive when necessary, including covering shifts in the event of callouts or staffing shortages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support daily delivery operations under the guidance of the Delivery Manager.
  • Prepare and organize orders for driver dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor delivery activities, providing support to drivers to ensure successful routes and send outs.
  • Drive and complete deliveries when coverage is needed due to call-outs or operational needs.
  • Assist with audits, inventory tracking, and compliance requirements.
  • Support driver performance, training, and communication.
  • Help resolve operational issues as they arise.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting related to deliveries, audits, and shift activities.
  • Promote a safe, compliant, and positive work environment.
  • Ability and willingness to step in as a driver when coverage is required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may expand as the role and company needs evolve.
  • Supervises and motivates direct reporting staff by assigning duties to each employee, explaining how these duties are to be done, and communicating how the successful performance of those duties will be measured.?
  • Monitors and corrects performance issues in real time and appropriately documents issues and corrective actions.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has authority for personnel decisions. Manages strategic hiring, people scheduling, performance management, corrective actions, and separations.
  • Must be able to work at least 40 hours a week. Flexible availability to work both day and night shifts plus some weekends.

Technical Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, managers, and other team members.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proficient with basic computer tools (Excel, Microsoft Office, routing/dispatch systems).
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or operations required, cannabis industry experience a plus.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 7 years.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
  • Ability to get in and out of vehicle and walk up and down stairs during your shift.
  • Must be able to stand, sit for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
