Job Description
Johnson Service Group is seeking a Manufacturing Recruiter for a contract position. This position sources, screens, and hires talent for production and manufacturing roles and managing full-cycle recruitment, collaborating with managers, using social media/boards, and ensuring a strong candidate pipeline for manufacturing and production positions in a fast-paced environment. This candidate will need strong communication, negotiation, and sourcing skills, with manufacturing recruiting experience, to attract skilled workers for roles such as assembly, repair technicians, material handlers, etc.
Payrate up to $40 per hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Screening: Use job boards, LinkedIn, referrals to find candidates; review resumes, conduct interviews, assess skills/aptitude.
- Collaboration: Partner with department managers to understand needs and proactively build talent pools.
- Candidate Management: Act as a key contact, build relationships, and guide candidates through the hiring process.
- Pipeline Building: Develop strategies to attract and retain top talent, focusing on manufacturing and production positions.
- Onboarding: Assist with integrating new hires.
- Reporting: Track metrics and provide status updates as needed.
- Experience recruiting in Manufacturing and production in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with recruitment software (like Workday and MS Office.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
