Janitorial Team Member

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented janitorial team member to join our dedicated crew at OR Berkeley.

WednesdaySunday, 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM

This position plays a vital role in ensuring staff and patient safety by cleaning and disinfecting OR facilities to the highest standards. As an OR Technician, you are the first line of defense against the spread of disease, ensuring that all procedure rooms are thoroughly and meticulously cleaned and disinfected, keeping patients, families, and medical staff safe from pathogens.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures
• Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Use proper PPE where required

Physical demands and qualifications:

• Constant standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs - 50lbs
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses
• On-the-job training provided to those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Contribute to the overall team effort by being in uniform, dependable, and on time
• Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect
• Must have reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic required
