Job Overview: Reach out to riders on trains to solicit participation in the Passenger Experience Survey.

Accurately enter information collected on board and assist with administrative activities on office shifts.

Actual work schedule will vary weekly and includes weekday and weekend shifts as well as shifts that start prior to 8 AM and those that end after 10 PM.

Candidate Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year full-time verifiable experience in outside sales or a similar role.
• Must have prior experience initiating contact and engaging in-person with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Preference for individuals with proven ability to proactively approach and interact with strangers - not just strong interpersonal skills, but comfort with cold engagement.

Physical Requirements

• Must be capable of walking or standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to sit is not considered particularly relevant for this role and can be omitted.

Qualitative Notes for Screening

• Candidates with a direct sales background are ideal, but roles that demanded proactive outreach (e.g. field engagement, street canvassing) are also strong fits.
• Experience in customer-facing roles should be evaluated based on whether the candidate initiated the interaction, not just reacted to it.

Ability to pass Background, Drug Screen and if applicable Medical Screenings (i.e. Vision, Hearing, or Physical) if Required by Client.
