Description:

We're partnering with a growing healthcare services organization to add a Point of Care Lab Technician to their on-site team. This full-time opportunity offers consistent scheduling, hands-on clinical work, and the chance to support fast-paced diagnostic services in a collaborative environment.

Shift Details
Available shifts include early mornings (5:00am-1:30pm) or afternoons/evenings (2:00pm-10:30pm). Full-time schedule.

Compensation and Benefits
This position offers an hourly pay range of $24.18-$29.89, based on experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is available for full-time employees and may include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and more.

Your Role
  • Perform waived point-of-care laboratory testing under supervision
  • Receive, process, and log specimens accurately
  • Enter patient demographics and test orders into the lab system
  • Perform and document quality control and instrument maintenance
  • Conduct venipuncture and capillary blood collection as needed
  • Review and confirm abnormal or unusual results before release
  • Monitor STAT testing turnaround times
  • Assist with inventory management and regulatory documentation
  • Troubleshoot basic instrument, computer, or workflow issues
  • Adhere to all safety and compliance standards

Job Requirements
  • Active MLT, MLS, or LVN license (required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Eligibility to perform waived testing per California state requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Prior phlebotomy and laboratory experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
