Senior Helpers South Valley is looking for a caregiver with experience in housekeeper that helps our client to do surface of cleaning, with a thorough and intensive cleaning skills, addressing areas often neglected during daily upkeep.

Compensation and Benefits

• The compensation for this role is $18 to $20 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Benefits include accrued paid sick days, flexible hours, career advancement training, and Caregiver appreciation activities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of a residence, including detailed cleaning tasks beyond routine daily upkeep.
• Deep cleaning of floors, windows, walls, appliances, dusting and vacuuming rugs and carpets, organizing and tidying spaces like kitchen, bathrooms and common areas.
• Ensure safe and comfortable environment by being organized. Checking cleaning supplies and maintaining all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of the client.
• Mature, responsible and friendly behavior.
• With experience working or taking care of a senior.
• Ability to read and follow signs and written instructions.

Qualifications

Must treat clients with dignity and respect, must be able to read, write and speak English at an average adult level, must be willing to submit to background check per California state law.
