Description:

The Administrative Assistant position is responsible for welcoming visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries, directing visitors and employment applicants, and monitoring logbook. This position also handles and/or assists with various administrative duties in other departments such as Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, Transportation and Warehouse. This position is also responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the employee kitchen area.

Responsibilities:
- Professionally greet and welcome visitors as soon as they arrive at the office in a friendly manner;
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office;
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls;
- Answer basic customer questions;
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable;
- Ensure kitchen area is clean and orderly at all times;
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email;
- Provide employment applications to applicants;
- Handle inventory of supplies;
- Creates signage;
- Organize and file daily driver reports;
- Assists with Payroll pre processing;

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years in a receptionist/administrative assistant role
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience planning events, scheduling, communicating with a variety of vendors
