We want you to view your time at Westfall as an investment in your future./ppWe are currently seeking a Quality Inspector./ppPay Rate/Shift: $22/hr for 1st shift and there is a +$2/hr Shift Differential for the 9pm-5:15am shift./ph3Job Overview/h3pThe Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet specified standards and customer requirements. This role involves performing visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using measuring tools and testing equipment. The Quality Inspector documents findings, identifies defects or deviations, and works closely with production and quality teams to resolve issues. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, reducing rework, and supporting compliance with internal and external quality standards./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3olliPerform First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections/liliMonitor and Document Quality/liliConduct CMM Testing/liliPerform Dimensional and Functional Testing/liliReport and Document Nonconformances/liliEnsure Compliance with QMS and cGMP/liliAssist in Audits/liliPerform Sorting and Rework/liliAssist in Training Inspector/Packers/liliEnsure Safety Devices are Intact/liliFollow Safety Procedures/li/olh3Job Requirements/h3ulliA high school diploma or equivalent is required./lili2-3 years of plastic injection molding experience/liliExcellent time management, organization, and planning skills./liliAdvanced problem-solving and analytical skills./liliMust be detail-oriented/liliAbility to multitask./liliMust possess good interpersonal and communication skills./liliAbility to promote a team atmosphere in the department and in other production-based areas./liliMust be able to work with minimal supervision, self-starter, and have high initiative./liliComputer skills./li/ulpWORK ENVIRONMENT/ppThe work environment is usually in an office within a manufacturing facility with low to moderate noise level.
