Type: Full-Time Independent Contractor (2-year contract, renewable).

Pay: $800 USD/month (Trial Period) to $1,000 USD/month (Base).

THE ROLE We are seeking a highly organized Virtual Events Coordinator to serve as the operational backbone of our event portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Events, you will lead logistics, manage platforms, and ensure flawless execution. This is a role for a proactive problem-solver who loves technology and details.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

Logistics Leadership: Lead coordination for virtual, hybrid, and in-person events from conception to completion.

Platform Management: Build, customize, and manage event websites and registration platforms (experience with Swoogo or Whova is a massive plus).

Data Mastery: Maintain rigorous accuracy across Excel trackers and CRMs, ensuring every attendee is accounted for.

Communication Central: Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries, coordinating timelines with marketing, design, and data teams.

Reporting: Develop comprehensive dashboards and post-event resources to measure success.
• CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in Project Coordination, Event Coordination, or a high-level operational role.
  • Language: C2 Level English (or higher) is non-negotiable. You must have native-level fluency for client-facing communication.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required (Marketing, International Relations, or Design preferred).
  • Tech Stack: Proven experience with virtual event platforms (Swoogo, Whova, EventUp).
  • Excel Proficiency: You must be comfortable with formulas, filters, and pivot tables.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional multitasking abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong sense of accountability.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (BONUS)
  • Experience with PM tools (Asana, Trello, Jira) and CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Working knowledge of CSS for event page customization.
CONTRACT & COMPENSATION
  • Structure: Full-Time Independent Contractor.
  • Duration: Long-term 2-year contract (renewable).
  • Trial Period: The first 3 months are a paid trial period at $800 USD/month.
  • Standard Compensation: Upon successful review after 3 months, compensation increases to $1,000 USD/month.
