Dale Hardware, a member of ACE Hardware, and one of the largest independently owned and operated hardware retailers in the USA, is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our growing team!
Responsibilities:
Quickly and professionally respond to and load customer pick up requests.
Carefully fill and cut the required products for our customers i.e. propane, kerosene, pipe, steel, etc.
Carefully and accurately unload and sign for incoming freight noting and reporting any shortages to department manager.
Operate safely and according to procedures, all equipment i.e., forklift, wave, aerial vehicle lift, band saw, pipe machine and any other equipment you may come in contact .
If authorized, quickly and accurately make deliveries per instructions.
Neatly put away merchandise in the warehouse. Keep isle ways and conveyor clear of merchandise.
Observe all closing procedures including cleaning and sweeping warehouse area.
Have a full understanding of the computer procedures that are required to process incoming orders and special orders.
Understand how to operate and use our special order system to accommodate our customers needs and requests.
Understand all defective goods process and procedures.

Qualifications:
Prior warehouse experience, preferably in a retail hardware store or other hardware related industry.
High School Diploma or equivalent
