Location: San Francisco, Marina District
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (occasional flexibility required)
Compensation: $65-$75/hr. (approximately $135K-$156K annualized)
Start Date: ASAP (client hopes to hire before the holidays!)

Overview

Our client, a single executive based in the Marina District of San Francisco, is seeking a highly organized and polished Executive | Personal Assistant to manage daily personal and household operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience supporting an individual in a similar role, with exceptional communication skills, sound judgment, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

This role suits a calm, trustworthy professional who values structure, maintains discretion, and thrives in a supportive, detail-oriented environment. The client values thorough communication and regular updates-she appreciates a candidate who keeps her informed, but who has a professional and concise communication style.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Principal's personal and household calendar
  • Schedule all vendors
  • Oversee day-to-day personal and household management
  • Conduct online research; manage orders, purchases, and returns
  • Organize personal and household projects
  • Manage vehicle maintenance, cleaning, registration, and related records
  • Handle household bills and submit to the family office for payment
  • Coordinate scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups for all personal matters
  • Liaise with vendors, including the chef, cleaners, and maintenance providers
  • Plan light personal travel and itineraries
  • Run local errands and manage deliveries
  • Maintain a calm, professional presence and provide regular written updates
  • Provide Principal with a daily summary of tasks and their status of completion
  • Occasionally help set up/break down events
  • Stock second home in Marin
  • Deliver items to homes of friends/family members
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an Executive or Personal Assistant role
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills; meticulous attention to detail
  • Local to the San Francisco Bay Area
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Physically fit; ability to handle errands, walking, and occasional lifting
  • Non-smoking and non-vaping
  • Comfortable working near two friendly dogs
  • Must pass an in-depth background investigation and provide stellar references
  • Willing to work with regular oversight for the first 4-6 months while trust develops
  • Ability to manage time effectively despite limited parking (note: Chrissy Field offers nearby all-day parking)
  • High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
  • Candidates must be vaccinated for COVID and Flu
  • Please note: no cologne/perfume or other strong scents
Compensation & Benefits
  • $65-$75/hr. (approximately $135K-$156K annualized)
  • Guarantee of 40 hours per week
  • 10 days of paid vacation
