Showroom Administrative Assistant

Location: San Francisco Showroom 701 8th Street San Francisco, California 94103

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Base pay range

$24.00/yr – $26.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide product and service information when designers are occupied.
  • Assist the sales team with all sales-related tasks, ensuring smooth customer interactions and operations.
  • Support showroom operations by helping the store manager and assisting in merchandising/layout updates as needed.
  • Maintain and update the materials library, vendor catalogs, and price lists. Contact vendors for sample requests or product information.
  • Assist with inventory maintenance, including tagging barcodes and conducting store checkups.
  • Update store floor plans and manage showroom supplies.
  • Handle field telephone calls and provide administrative support as required by the designers and store managers.
  • Maintain the front desk area, ensuring the showroom is organized, clean, and welcoming.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team if necessary.
  • Provide general showroom support to ensure efficient daily operations of the showroom.
  • Perform other duties as assigned but not limited.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency with inventory systems and Microsoft Office suite.
