Position Overview

The HR Administrative Assistant will provide general administrative support to the HR team. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. The position is part‑time (30 hours/week) and on‑site in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the HR team
  • Maintain and organize digital and physical HR files and documentation
  • Assist with scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting logistics
  • Prepare basic correspondence, templates, and standardized HR documents
  • Assist with data entry and maintain shared HR spreadsheets
  • Support scanning, filing, document management, and recordkeeping
  • Assist with tracking HR projects and maintaining checklists
  • Provide general office support and assist with special administrative projects as needed
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of administrative experience, preferably in an office or HR setting
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and capable of managing time independently
  • Hospitality industry interest or experience is a plus

Compensation & Details

  • Term: Temporary, 3 months
  • Hours: Part‑time, 30 hours/week (Monday–Friday preferred; some flexibility available)
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
  • Location: On‑site in San Francisco
