Litigation Associate - Construction

Description:

Manage and participate in construction and facilities-related litigation matters, including contract disputes, defect claims, and public works issues.

Handle all aspects of case management, from initial evaluation through discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and resolution.

Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, briefs, and motions, and assist with strategy development.

Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective litigation and settlement approaches.

Engage in direct client contact and assume increasing responsibility for case leadership and courtroom experience.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Active California Bar membership in good standing.

4 - 8 years of litigation experience, preferably in construction-related disputes or complex commercial litigation.

Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with demonstrated attention to detail.

Excellent academic credentials (top of class or from a top-tier law school).

Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a sense of humor and a passion for advocacy.
