Responsibilities

  • Coordinate across departments to maintain station on‑time performance and morale
  • Monitor ground‑support performance and ensure compliance with safety and gate‑control procedures
  • Maintain equipment and GSE; assure availability for operations
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations, drive safety, compliance, and service‑conscious culture
  • Forecast operational situations, monitor key metrics, deliver results, and hold accountable parties
  • Build shift bids and manage staffing, attendance, and overtime usage
  • Handle labor‑contract administration and minimize disputes
  • Perform additional duties as required by leadership

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, coaching, and instructional skills with a focus on safety
  • Experience with airline operations, collective‑bargaining knowledge, and GSE/ground‑support operations
  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and adjust work practices
  • Knowledge of safety, labor, and local‑security protocols
  • Drivers license, SIDA badge, GSC qualification, and DOT‑drug testing readiness
  • U.S. citizenship, 18‑year‑old, and valid work‑authorization (no sponsorship)

Physical Abilities

  • Lift 70 lbs regularly; perform 40‑50 lb lifts in raised positions
  • Climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently
  • Operate in inclement weather or excessive environmental conditions
  • Use computer and office‑productivity tools with speed and accuracy

Other Qualifications

  • Maintain well‑groomed appearance per company standards
  • Comply with attendance and meeting standards
