Siemens Logistics LLC is seeking to fill a full?time Baggage Handling Floor Support position to support the team located at the San Francisco, California airport. This role requires experience and knowledge in the responsibilities outlined below.

Responsibilities

Provide general and specialized support under the supervision of the Manager or Shift Supervisor to maintain the operation of the Baggage Handling systems. The position will be responsible for safely clearing bag jams when they occur, assisting technicians with mechanical and electrical repairs when needed, manually moving baggage during system outages, manually encoding bag tags when needed, performing general clean?up of work areas and conveyor equipment, and monitoring and assisting the flow of baggage through critical areas of the system.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting (50 to 100 pounds), bending, reaching, climbing, walking, crawling, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, speaking, sight, and/or hearing to complete the job duties.

Required Skills

• Must have a driver license with a clean MVR.
• Ability to pass all background checks and security screenings per airport requirements.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail is very important; teamwork and the ability to perform under pressure and provide excellent client service.

• Must be available to work 04:00?14:30 AM shift from 14:00 to 12:30 Midnight. 4?10 hour shifts Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday.
