Job Summary
Our dynamic team is seeking an Experienced Field Investigator to conduct surveillance and investigative activities to identify potential fraudulent insurance claims. This role involves performing stationary and mobile surveillance, obtaining video and photographic evidence, and preparing thorough, detailed reports for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Case Preparation: Review preliminary reports and case information before assignment.
- Field Surveillance: Perform covert surveillance from your vehicle, tracking and capturing high‑quality video evidence of targets.
- Report Writing: Draft detailed, court‑ready investigative reports summarizing activity and key findings.
- Documentation: Submit case reports and upload video footage via personal laptop at the end of each day.
- Communication: Work closely with the field supervisor and operations teams, receiving regular guidance and mentorship.
Requirements
- Proven experience in covert surveillance techniques and capturing high‑quality video footage.
- Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
- Reliable personal vehicle, preferably with tinted windows.
- Surveillance equipment: handheld camcorder with zoom, covert camera device, and stabilization gear (gimbals, tripods).
- Reliable laptop, cell phone, and internet connection for communication and administrative tasks.
- Active Private Investigator license, or willingness to obtain one where required by state.
Working Conditions
- Assignments typically within a 2‑hour drive of your residence; occasional longer travel and overnight stays may be required.
- Most surveillance cases begin at 6:00 AM; end times vary and a typical workday can range from 3‑12 hours.
- Weekends and holidays are common workdays.
- The role is independent and often requires long periods alone in your vehicle, regardless of weather conditions.
- Must remain alert, free of external distractions, and ready to document subjects using videography equipment.

Salary: $28‑$35 per hour.
