The Western States Roofing Contractors Association (WSRCA) supports and advances the roofing industry across the Western U.S., offering advocacy, education, and events such as the Western Roofing Expo.

Position Summary

WSRCA is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to support daily operations and member relations. This role includes administrative tasks, outreach, basic marketing support, and assisting with event coordination. Ideal for someone organized, friendly, and proactive. This position offers the possibility for expanded responsibilities and growth in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist members and prospective members via phone and email.
  • Process applications, renewals, and maintain accurate member information.
  • Help with outreach and occasional cold calls to support membership growth.
  • Support marketing efforts, social media posts, and website updates.
  • Assist with event coordination and exhibitor membership verification.
  • Help with collections and selling advertising opportunities.
  • Video editing or content creation skills are a bonus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; some college preferred.
  • 1–2+ years administrative or customer service experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM or social media experience a plus.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking.
  • Occasional travel for events.

Preferred Attributes

  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Nonprofit or trade association experience helpful.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude.
