The Role

We're looking for a client-centered, technically skilled professional to join our Advice Strategy team. You'll partner with advisors and clients to design and deliver sophisticated financial plans that integrate tax, estate, insurance, and investment strategies. This is a high-impact role for someone who blends analytical strength with strong emotional intelligence and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is referred to internally as Senior Advice Strategist and may be based in either our San Francisco or Berkeley office.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with advisors to build client-ready financial plans and materials
  • Lead advanced planning analyses and present recommendations
  • Collaborate with attorneys, CPAs, and investment professionals
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements
  • Manage plan implementation and drive planning technology adoption

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • CFP® or Series 65 required (or ability to obtain within 180 days)
  • 5–7+ years of financial planning experience
  • Strong tax, estate, retirement, and insurance knowledge
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check

The estimated base salary range for this role is $139,000– $173,000 per year. Base salaries are determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. Many roles are also eligible for variable pay such as bonuses, commissions, and/or long-term incentives.
