Overview

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing front‑office professional to serve as the first point of contact for patients at our San Francisco clinic. The incumbent will handle phone calls, scheduling, insurance verification, co‑pay collection and end‑of‑day reporting while fostering an exceptional patient experience.

Schedule

• Location: 3222 Geary Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94118
• Employment Type: Full‑time
• Hours: Weekdays, flexible
• Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; explain visit expectations; provide next appointment info upon check‑out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Communicate regularly with attorneys, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and business development teams
• Collect co‑pays; manage payer approvals; conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of front‑desk experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Insurance verification experience

Physical Requirements

• Walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently throughout the shift
• Manual dexterity to type, including 10‑key, throughout the shift
• Lift up to 25 lbs safely from ground to waist using proper body mechanics
• Carry office supplies up to 10 lbs
• Maintain visual acuity sufficient to keep accurate records and recognize people
• Speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions
