Legal Assistant (Word Processing)

Scion Staffing is searching for a full‑time, on‑site Legal Assistant (Word Processing) to support attorneys and paralegals at a nationally recognized litigation firm headquartered in San Francisco, California.

Base Pay Range

$100,000.00/yr – $125,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, format, edit, and finalize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
  • Review and proof documents for accuracy, grammar, and consistency.
  • Utilize and troubleshoot document management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to meet deadlines and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Provide additional case and administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in legal document preparation and word processing within a law firm environment.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional grammar, proofreading, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
