The position is responsible for providing overall administrative coordination of day‑to‑day operational and administrative activities for the Division of Palliative Medicine and executive assistance to the Division Chief. Key responsibilities include serving as a central point of contact for faculty and staff on operational matters, managing IT/facilities tickets, ordering supplies, submitting purchase orders and expense reports, supporting finance and HR tasks such as invoice tracking and cost transfers, onboarding new hires, creating surveys, generating reports, and analyzing data. The role also contributes to Division and team meetings, creates agendas and minutes, supports special projects that improve employee engagement, and provides high‑level project and administrative support to the Division Chief, managing a complex calendar.
The Administrative Coordinator may also be involved in program‑specific projects led by faculty or program directors in areas of research, clinical operations, and education. Additional duties may include supporting Division communications such as social media, Wiki, and website updates.
