Personal Independence Advisory Manager at EY — Location: Anywhere in Country.

We operate in a connected world with rapid technology, evolving risk management, and regulatory expectations. This role provides independence guidance to professionals and client service teams and supports risk and independence policy adherence across the firm.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide independence assistance to professionals and client service teams and participate in related projects.
- Help professionals comply with Independence and Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM) policies and applicable regulations.
- Consult on independence policies and procedures across a range of matters to enable thoughtful risk management decisions.
- Work on complex projects that may affect country performance, client relationships, or vendor relationships, with broad, reviewable decision-making authority.
- Collaborate with Independence executives on key business issues affecting staff.
Qualifications
To qualify for the role, you must have- Project management skills to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Process improvement experience
- Strategic thinking and ability to handle complex concepts
- Problem-solving skills across service lines, industries, and geographies
- Experience driving and adapting to change
- Ability to deliver tough messages to executive leaders
- English language skills — excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong listening and interpretation skills
- Good working knowledge of computers and common software packages
- 7+ years related experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
Ideally, you'll have- Ability to exercise significant independent judgment and discretion on complex risks
- Ability to apply knowledge to opportunities and solutions per firm policies
- Understanding of ISQM (Quality Management) and ICFR (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting)
